Siwandu (previously known as Selous Safari Camp) is set in an open palm forest on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, a huge lake which adjoins the Rufiji River. The camp is divided into north and south camps and blends in perfectly with its natural surroundings .
There are 6 tents in the north camp and 7 tents in the south camp, all set along the lake shore on timber platforms. Each tent is spacious and luxuriously appointed and has a king size bed, an en suite bathroom with hot shower, and a veranda overlooking the lake.
Each part of the camp has its own swimming pool, comfortable lounge, well stocked bar, dining area and kitchen where chefs produce the finest cuisine.
Activities available at the camp include boat safaris, game viewing, bush walking safaris, fly camping, fishing.
Six tents in the North Camp; Seven in the South Camp.
From 6 years old upwards (maximum of four at any one time).

For a $225 pppn supplement it is possible to undertake a walking safari based on their more remotely located Fly Camp.
There is also a small Private Camp, comprising just four tents, which may be booked on an exclusive basis @ $4736 per night.
Boat safaris may also be undertaken on the river, with the added possibility of fishing, for cat fish, tiger fish and the occasional bream.
