Katuma Bush Lodge is located in the centre of Katavi National Park, the third largest park in Tanzania and one of the remotest. The camp sits in an elevated position overlooking the vast plains of Katisunga. This is a luxurious camp which blends in with the natural surroundings and is set in a small forest of tamarind and acacia trees in a beautiful part of the National Park.
There are 10 spacious and comfortably furnished canvas tents on raised wooden decks, with double or twin beds, fine linen, mosquito nets, writing desk and lamps, and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water, and flushing loos. There is solar powered energy. You can sit and relax and watch the wildlife from the comfort of the roofed veranda at the front of your tent.
There is a lounge/dining area and a variety of sumptuous dishes are served, accompanied by tropical fruits and juices. On the last evening a barbeque is served under the shade of the tamarind trees while watching the sun go down, an unforgettable experience.
