Kigelia Tented Camp is a new and exclusive fully tented luxury camp situated on the Ifuguru Sand River and near to both the Mwagusi and Greater Ruaha Rivers in Ruaha National Park.  The camp is small and intimate and is still evolving in order to meet the needs of its guests.

The camp has 6 very spacious double tents all beautifully and luxuriously appointed in both comfort and style, using locally crafted furniture and stylish furnishings.  All have en-suites with flushing toilet and washbasin and each has its own open air bucket shower for an authentic African experience.

Meals are served in the dining area following a sundowner around the camp fire on the edge of the river bank.  Food is excellent using fresh produce and local ingredients whenever possible. A good selection of International wines is also available at mealtimes.  Depending on the activity you choose for the day, breakfast can be served in camp or out in the bush. [cont].

Kigelia Tented Camp offers morning and afternoon game drives as well as all day game drives, in luxury open sided 4x4 vehicles to give unrestricted game viewing in total comfort.  Guided walking safaris are also available, and a programme of activities can be designed around your own particular interests, experience and desires.

Being one of Tanzania's newest camps, Kigelia has built in a number of features unique to itself. In particular its game drive vehicles are more than state of the art, but rather out of this world. Travelling in one of these is more reminiscent of a luxury limousine, than the usual bumpy 4WD experience.
