Katavi Wildlife Tented Camp is sited in the best wildlife area of Katavi National Park. It is located in a prime game viewing area at the mouth of the Katuma River and on the edge of the Chada floodplain. This is a ‘no frills’ camp but still offers comfort and all modern conveniences.
There are 8 luxurious and comfortably appointed tents, set on wooden platforms with en-suite facilities and verandas where you can enjoy the wildlife without leaving your tent.
On offer here are game drives, walking safaris, fly camping all with superb guides. Many visitors regard Katavi Tented Camp as one of the last remaining 'true wilderness' camps in Africa.

Park fees $20 pppn. Guided walk (over 16 years of age) $35 per person. Bar drinks are not included.

Electricity provided by generator (daytime). Solar heated water.

Game drives undertaken in open 4WD vehicles, with tiered seating and roof shading.
Fly camping can be booked, for a minimum of two nights.
Scheduled flights operate to Katavi two days a week; private charters on demand.
